One Prayer

Join us for "One Prayer," Friday, March 1 st , from 3:30 to 4 pm in the auditorium or in the music room. Know that from now until the end of the school year, on the final full day of school each week, everyone in the PACA community is invited from 3:30 to 4 pm to pray together in the auditorium (or music room). We want to be dedicated to "One Prayer" together because we want to be consistently united in calling out to the One, as one people, regardless of who we are or what we do with PACA. God's calling for us is most clearly written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Please consider joining us as much as you can for a time of private and corporate prayer together with God's people at PACA.

Knowledge Bowl Tournament

PACA’s Knowledge Bowl team is competing in Recife this week. Please pray for them, their trip, and their participation during the tournament. That they may be a blessing to other students.

Secondary Round Table

Character First  

Elementary students are currently studying the topic of Determination - “Overcoming obstacles in order to reach my goal.”

At our Character First assembly on February 5, students learned about determination through the Old Testament story of Jericho, from the book of Joshua. Students will participate in small groups for the next several weeks, giving them the opportunity to continue learning and growing together with their peers!

As students learn and practice important characteristics, our goal is for them to grow in their personal relationships and in their relationship with God.

Uniforms

Uniforms are required for all students PreK - 12th grade. If the student does not have a required item, especially for Elementary, please contact the Front Desk via Layers to let us know.

If secondary students come to school out of uniform, they will be given a uniform pass in their homeroom class and will be directed to the receptionist to purchase the necessary pieces. Please remember that the length of shorts (no more than 8 cm above the knee) applies to PE shorts and non-PACA shorts. We understand that some families are waiting for orders to be fulfilled and are working with our supplier to expedite that process.

Our Elementary PE Swimming will continue through March 22.

If your child needs a PACA swimsuit and swimming cap, please order them from PACA’s receptionist.

Parents and legal guardians, please check in at the front desk when entering the school premises between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm. A visitor’s badge will be available if needed.

Praying Moms

We invite PACA moms to join us every Wednesday from 8:00 - 9:00 in the apartment in the preschool area to pray together.

One Prayer

Junte-se a nós em “One Prayer”, sexta-feira, dia 1º de março, das 15:30 às 16:00 no auditório ou na sala de música. Até o final do ano letivo, no último dia “inteiro” de aula de cada semana, todos, da comunidade da PACA, estão convidados das 15:30 às 16:00 para orarmos juntos no Auditório. Dedicaremos um tempo à "Uma Oração – One Prayer" porque queremos estar consistentemente unidos em clamar ao Único, como um só povo, independentemente de quem somos ou do que fazemos na PACA. O chamado de Deus para nós está mais claramente escrito em 2 Crônicas 7:14 - "Se o meu povo, que é chamado pelo meu nome, se humilhar, orar, buscar a minha face e desviar-se dos seus maus caminhos, então ouvirei do céu, e perdoarei o seu pecado e curarei a sua terra." Por favor, venha juntar-se a nós o máximo que puder para um momento de oração individual e conjunta, com o povo de Deus na PACA.

Character First

Alunos do Elementary estão estudando  o tópico Determinação - "Superar obstáculos para atingir meu objetivo".

Em nossa assembleia do Character First em 5 de fevereiro, os alunos aprenderam sobre determinação por meio da história de Jericó, do livro de Josué, no Antigo Testamento. Os alunos participarão de pequenos grupos nas próximas semanas, o que lhes dará a oportunidade de continuar aprendendo e crescendo junto com seus colegas!

O objetivo é que os alunos cresçam em seu relacionamento com Deus e em seus relacionamentos pessoais, conforme eles aprendem e praticam cada um dos traços neste processo.

Uniformes

Os uniformes são obrigatórios para todos os alunos PreK - 12th.

Se o aluno não tiver um item obrigatório, especialmente no Elementary, pedimos que, por gentileza, entre em contato com a recepção através do Layers para nos informar.

Se algum aluno do Secondary chegar à escola sem uniforme, ele receberá um "passe de uniforme" em sua primeira aula e será encaminhado à recepção para comprar a peça necessária. Lembramos que o comprimento dos shorts não poderá ter mais que 8 cm acima do joelho. Isto também se aplica aos shorts de educação física e aos shorts que não são da PACA. 

Entendemos que algumas famílias ainda estão aguardando os pedidos realizados e por isso temos trabalhado com nosso fornecedor, para que agilize o processo de entrega.

There will be no school from Feb 12-14, due to the Carnaval holiday. 

Friday, Feb 23- Half Day of School for Students  

Due to Professional Development Afternoon for Teachers, Feb 23 will be half day for students.

Elementary & Secondary students will have Periods 1-5. 

• Preschool will follow their normal morning schedule (but will not have nap time). 

• All students will have lunch on campus at their normal times. 

• School buses will leave campus at 12:50.

If you plan for your child to leave before dismissal time, please send an email to [email protected] or through Layers in the “Atendimento” channel with the name, grade, and time that the student will leave school beforehand. Please go to the Front Desk to have your child picked up and signed out, in this case.

If your child is not coming that day, please send an email to [email protected] up to two days before so that teachers may be communicated in a timely manner.

Character First  

Elementary students began their first Character First rotation of the semester this week! Our topic is Determination - “Overcoming obstacles in order to reach my goal.”

Elementary PE Swimming Unit & Uniform Purchase 

Our Elementary PE Swimming unit will take place from January 31 – March 22.

If your child needs a PACA swimsuit and swimming cap, please order them from PACA’s receptionist - Raquel Amorim.

Please see the letter that was sent home in November for the full details of what to send to school with your child for swimming class.

Absences from school

Parents, if your child needs to be absent for any reason (illness, medical appointment, dentist, trips, etc) or if you need to pick up your child during the day, please send an email to: [email protected] through Layers in the “Atendimento” channel, beforehand.

Late Students

Students arriving after 8:00 am must stop by the school reception to pick up their "Tardy Slip" to hand in to their teacher. Parents, we ask for your support in ensuring that all students arrive on time so that teachers can start class on time and without distractions to other students.

Pick-up Kids

Parents, if you need to pick up your child from school during the school day (between 8:05 am and 3:25 pm), please stop by reception and wait for your child to arrive at reception. The receptionist will notify the teacher to authorize leaving the classroom.

Parents and legal guardians, please check in at the front desk when entering the school premises between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm. A visitor’s badge will be available if needed.

School Tuition

Parents, tuition fees due on the 5th of each month are available on the school's Boletos Portal ( https://paca-portal-aluno.softwaregeo.com.br/Login/Aluno ) after the 20th of the previous month.

Sexta-feira, 23 de fevereiro - Meio dia de Aula para os Alunos 

Os alunos terão meio-dia de aula no dia 23 de fevereiro, devido à Tarde de Desenvolvimento Profissional para Professores.

Os alunos do Elementary e do Secondary farão os períodos 1-5. 

- O preschool seguirá o seu horário normal da manhã (mas não terá hora do soninho). 

- Todos os alunos almoçarão no campus no horário habitual. 

- Os ônibus sairão do campus às 12:50.

Se você planeja que seu filho saia antes do horário de saída, envie um e-mail para [email protected] ou através do Layers no canal "Atendimento" com o nome, a série e o horário em que o aluno deixará a escola com antecedência. Neste caso, dirija-se à Receção para que seu filho seja liberado.

Caso seu filho não venha neste dia, favor enviar um e-mail para [email protected] até dois dias antes para que os professores sejam comunicados em tempo hábil.

Até o final do ano letivo, no último dia “inteiro” de aula de cada semana, todos, da comunidade da PACA, estão convidados das 15:30 às 16:00 para orarmos juntos no Auditório. Dedicaremos um tempo à "Uma Oração – One Prayer" porque queremos estar consistentemente unidos em clamar ao Único, como um só povo, independentemente de quem somos ou do que fazemos na PACA. O chamado de Deus para nós está mais claramente escrito em 2 Crônicas 7:14 - "Se o meu povo, que é chamado pelo meu nome, se humilhar, orar, buscar a minha face e desviar-se dos seus maus caminhos, então ouvirei do céu, e perdoarei o seu pecado e curarei a sua terra." Por favor, venha juntar-se a nós o máximo que puder para um momento de oração individual e conjunta, com o povo de Deus na PACA.

Character First

Alunos do Elementary participarão da primeira sessão do Character First deste semestre, na semana que vem. O primeiro tópico é Determinação - "Superar obstáculos para atingir meu objetivo".

Em nossa assembleia do Character First em 5 de fevereiro, os alunos aprenderam sobre determinação por meio da história de Jericó, do livro de Josué, no Antigo Testamento. Os alunos participarão de pequenos grupos nas próximas semanas, o que lhes dará a oportunidade de continuar aprendendo e crescendo junto com seus colegas!

O objetivo é que os alunos cresçam em seu relacionamento com Deus e em seus relacionamentos pessoais, conforme eles aprendem e praticam cada um dos traços neste processo.

Natação para Elementary e Compra de Uniforme 

Nossa temporada de natação do Elementary está sendo realizada de 31 de janeiro a 22 de março.

Se precisar de um maiô, shortes e/ou touca de natação da PACA, solicite-os à recepcionista, Raquel Amorim.

Verifique a carta que foi enviada para casa em novembro para entender todos os detalhes sobre o que enviar para a escola com seu filho para a aula de natação.

Faltas

Pais, se seu filho precisar de faltar por qualquer motivo (doença, consulta médica, dentista, viagens, etc.) ou se você precisar de pegar o seu filho durante o dia letivo, por favor enviar, antecipadamente, um e-mail para: [email protected] ou pelo Layers através do Canal Atendimento.

Alunos Atrasados

Alunos que chegarem após as 8:00, devem passar pela recepção da escola para pegar o seu “Tardy Slip” para entregar para o professor. Pais, pedimos seu apoio para que todos os alunos cheguem no horário para que os professores possam começar a aula no horário e sem distrações para outros alunos.

Saída de Crianças

Pais, caso precise pegar seu filho na escola durante o dia letivo (entre as 8:05 e as 15:25), por gentileza, passar na recepção e aguardar a chegada do seu filho na recepção. A recepcionista irá avisar o professor para autorizar a saída da sala de aula.

Acesso ao campus

Os pais e tutores devem dirigir-se à receção quando entrarem nas instalações da escola entre as 8:00 e as 15:30 horas. Se necessário, será disponibilizado um crachá de visitante.

Mensalidades

Pais, as mensalidades que vencem no dia 5 de cada mês, ficam disponíveis no Portal de Boletos da Escola ( https://paca-portal-aluno.softwaregeo.com.br/Login/Aluno ) após o dia 20 do mês anterior.

Varsity Futsal and Volleyball practices started Monday, the first day of school. 

JV practices will begin on Monday, February 6th.

Character First   

Elementary students will begin their first Character First rotation of the semester next week! Our first topic will be Determination - “Overcoming obstacles in order to reach my goal.”

At our Character First assembly on February 5, students will learn about determination through the Old Testament story of Jericho, from the book of Joshua. Students will participate in small groups for the next several weeks, giving them opportunity to continue learning and growing together with their peers!

As students learn and practice important characteristics, our goal is for them to grow in their personal relationships and in their relationship with God.   

Elementary PE Swimming Unit & Uniform Purchase 

Our Elementary PE Swimming unit will take place from January 31 – March 22.

If your child needs a PACA swimsuit and swimming cap, please order them from PACA’s receptionist - Raquel Amorim.

Please see the letter that was sent home in November for the full details of what to send to school with your child for swimming class.

School Tuition

Parents, tuition fees due on the 5th of each month are available on the school's Boletos Portal ( https://paca-portal-aluno.softwaregeo.com.br/Login/Aluno ) after the 20th of the previous month.
