Elementary & Secondary students will have Periods 1-5.  • Preschool will follow their normal morning schedule (but will not have nap time).  • All students will have lunch on campus at their normal times.  • School buses will leave campus at 12:50. If you plan for your child to leave before dismissal time, please send an email to [email protected] or through Layers in the “Atendimento” channel with the name, grade, and time that the student will leave school beforehand. Please go to the Front Desk to have your child picked up and signed out, in this case. If your child is not coming that day, please send an email to [email protected] up to two days before so that teachers may be communicated in a timely manner. One Prayer Join us for "One Prayer," this Friday, February 9 from 3:30 to 4 pm in the auditorium. Know that from now until the end of the school year, on the final full day of school each week, everyone in the PACA community is invited from 3:30 to 4 pm to pray together in the auditorium (or music room). We want to be dedicated to "One Prayer" together because we want to be consistently united in calling out to the One, as one people, regardless of who we are or what we do with PACA. God's calling for us is most clearly written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Please consider joining us as much as you can for a time of private and corporate prayer together with God's people at PACA. Character First   Elementary students began their first Character First rotation of the semester this week! Our topic is Determination - “Overcoming obstacles in order to reach my goal.” At our Character First assembly on February 5, students learned about determination through the Old Testament story of Jericho, from the book of Joshua. Students will participate in small groups for the next several weeks, giving them opportunity to continue learning and growing together with their peers! As students learn and practice important characteristics, our goal is for them to grow in their personal relationships and in their relationship with God. Elementary PE Swimming Unit & Uniform Purchase  Our Elementary PE Swimming unit will take place from January 31 – March 22. If your child needs a PACA swimsuit and swimming cap, please order them from PACA’s receptionist - Raquel Amorim. Please see the letter that was sent home in November for the full details of what to send to school with your child for swimming class. Absences from school Parents, if your child needs to be absent for any reason (illness, medical appointment, dentist, trips, etc) or if you need to pick up your child during the day, please send an email to: [email protected] through Layers in the “Atendimento” channel, beforehand. Late Students Students arriving after 8:00 am must stop by the school reception to pick up their "Tardy Slip" to hand in to their teacher. Parents, we ask for your support in ensuring that all students arrive on time so that teachers can start class on time and without distractions to other students. Pick-up Kids Parents, if you need to pick up your child from school during the school day (between 8:05 am and 3:25 pm), please stop by reception and wait for your child to arrive at reception. The receptionist will notify the teacher to authorize leaving the classroom. Access to campus Parents and legal guardians, please check in at the front desk when entering the school premises between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm. A visitor’s badge will be available if needed. School Tuition Parents, tuition fees due on the 5th of each month are available on the school's Boletos Portal ( https://paca-portal-aluno.softwaregeo.com.br/Login/Aluno ) after the 20th of the previous month. Character First Alunos do Elementary participarão da primeira sessão do Character First deste semestre, na semana que vem. O primeiro tópico é Determinação - "Superar obstáculos para atingir meu objetivo". Em nossa assembleia do Character First em 5 de fevereiro, os alunos aprenderam sobre determinação por meio da história de Jericó, do livro de Josué, no Antigo Testamento. Os alunos participarão de pequenos grupos nas próximas semanas, o que lhes dará a oportunidade de continuar aprendendo e crescendo junto com seus colegas! Alunos Atrasados Alunos que chegarem após as 8:00, devem passar pela recepção da escola para pegar o seu “Tardy Slip” para entregar para o professor. Saída de Crianças Pais, caso precise pegar seu filho na escola durante o dia letivo (entre as 8:05 e as 15:25), por gentileza, passar na recepção e aguardar a chegada do seu filho na recepção. A recepcionista irá avisar o professor para autorizar a saída da sala de aula. Acesso ao campus Os pais e tutores devem dirigir-se à receção quando entrarem nas instalações da escola entre as 8:00 e as 15:30 horas. Se necessário, será disponibilizado um crachá de visitante.
