Elementary students (Kindergarten-5th Grade) will take MAP tests in Reading, Language, & Math during the weeks of May 20-24, May 27-31, and June 3. Middle School students will take MAP tests the week of May 13-17.  One Prayer Dear PACA Family, we invite all to join us on "One Prayer" every last full day of the week, in the Auditorium, at 3:30 pm. Let's be consistently united in calling out to the One, as one people, regardless of who we are or what we do with PACA. God's calling for us is most clearly written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Save the dates!! Our next meetings will be: - May: 10, 17, 24, 31 Join us in prayer! Character First   Elementary students began the last Character First rotation of the school year this week! Our topic is Generosity - “Being careful with what I have so that I can share.” At the assembly on April 22, students learned about Generosity through the biblical story of the widow's offering, based on Mark 12: 41-44. Students will participate in small groups for the next several weeks, giving them opportunity to continue learning and growing together with their peers! As students learn and practice important characteristics, our goal is for them to grow in their personal relationships and in their relationship with God.   2024/2025 School Year Calendar Start and End Dates Parents, PACA has set the start and end dates for each semester of the 2024/2025 school year.  The official calendar with detailed information will be sent during the month of April. We reinforce that the dates may change, as they will still be submitted for approval by the Department of Education/MEC. 1st Semester: 1st day of school: July 29, 2024 Last day of school: December 12, 2024 2nd Semester: 1st day of school: January 23, 2025 Last day of school: June 10, 2025  Graduations The class of 2024 invites you to their graduation ceremony on Saturday, June  1, at 6 p.m. in the school gym. Join us as we celebrate our seniors and bless them as they begin a new chapter in their lives. The 8th grade graduation ceremony will be on June 8. The Kindergarten graduation will happen on June 6 during the school day. Nosso tema é Generosidade - "Ter cuidado com o que tenho para poder compartilhar". Na assembleia de 22 de abril, os alunos aprenderam sobre a generosidade através da história bíblica da oferta da viúva, baseada em Marcos 12:41-44. Os alunos participarão de pequenos grupos nas próximas semanas, dando-lhes a oportunidade de continuar aprendendo e crescendo junto com seus colegas! O objetivo é que os alunos cresçam em seu relacionamento com Deus e em seus relacionamentos pessoais, conforme eles aprendem e praticam cada um dos traços neste processo.
