For the 5th and 7th grades, the tests will be Portuguese, Writing, and Math, and for the 9th and 11th grades tests will be in the “ENEM” model, with subjects relevant to the grade, but with all subjects integrated. The exams will take place during normal class hours, all hard copies (physical model), and in Portuguese. At the end, parents will receive a report of their children's knowledge and a comparison ruler individual, by class, by school, by city, by state and country. April 19, Friday - Half Day of School for Students  Due to Professional Development Afternoon, students will have half day on April 19.  Elementary & Secondary students will have Periods 1, 5, 6, 7, & 8 Preschool will follow their normal morning schedule (but will not have nap time).  All students will have lunch on campus at their normal times.  School buses will leave campus at 12:50. Science Fair, STEM Presentations, & Art Show – April 27 Preschool – 8th grade students and families, please plan to join us for the Science Fair and Art Show on Saturday, April 27 from 10:30 am-12:30 pm. Please note, all Elementary and Middle School students, as well as High School Art class students are expected to participate in Science Presentations and to view their artwork displayed in the Art Show.  One Prayer Dear PACA Family, we invite all to join us on "One Prayer" every last full day of the week, in the Auditorium, at 3:30 pm. Let's be consistently united in calling out to the One, as one people, regardless of who we are or what we do with PACA. God's calling for us is most clearly written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Character First   Elementary students are currently studying the topic of Wisdom - “Applying truth to my daily decisions.” At our Character First assembly on March 18, students learned about wisdom through the Old Testament story of Solomon, from the book of 1 Kings and Proverbs. Students will participate in small groups for the next several weeks, giving them opportunity to continue learning and growing together with their peers! As students learn and practice important characteristics, our goal is for them to grow in their personal relationships and in their relationship with God.    Financial Aid 2024/2025 Financial Aid application forms for the academic year 2024-2025 must be requested through the e-mail:  [email protected] . We remind you that the deadline to send the completed forms, as well as the documents requested, ends on April 30.  The forms and all support documents need to be printed and sent to the office by April 30. Requests that arrive after will not be considered for analysis. Praying Moms We invite PACA moms to join us every Wednesday from 8:00 - 9:00 in the apartment in the preschool area to pray together. Lost and Found PACA's Lost and Found is full of students' clothes, water bottles, school supplies, etc. Every Friday, we plan to place our lost and found items in the locker hallway at school. If your child has lost something, please ask them to pick it up. Items other than uniforms or school supplies not collected by April 8th will be donated to the NGO Projeto UNA (https://www.projetouna.com.br/).  Valuable lost items can be collected at the school reception desk. 2024/2025 School Year Calendar Start and End Dates Parents, PACA has set the start and end dates for each semester of the 2024/2025 school year.  The official calendar with detailed information will be sent during the month of April. Em nossa assembleia do Character First em 18 de março, os alunos estudaram sobre sabedoria através da história de Salomão no Antigo Testamento, no livro de 1 Reis e Provérbios. Os alunos participarão em pequenos grupos durante as próximas semanas, dando-lhes a oportunidade de continuar aprendendo e crescendo junto com seus colegas! O objetivo é que os alunos cresçam em seu relacionamento com Deus e em seus relacionamentos pessoais, conforme eles aprendem e praticam cada um dos traços neste processo.
