May Bazaar

The May Bazaar will be held in the gym on Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Parent Advisory Committee Meeting

The Parent Advisory Committee will meet with the administration on Monday, May 21, at 7:30 a.m.

News from the Vestibular

You can sign up for ENEM (national high school exam) until May 18, through the INEP website: https://enem.inep.gov.br/#/crono?_k=1nbbrz. The fee is R$ 82. The ENEM results can be used for admission to several public universities via SiSU. Big private universities, such as FGV, Insper, Ibmec, ESMP, PUC, Mackenzie, FAAP and others, have spots reserved for admissions via ENEM. The exams will be administered on November 4 and 11. The first exam will start at 1:30 and end at 7 p.m., and will have questions about Language, Humanities and Essays. The second exam will start at 1:30 and end at 6:30 p.m., with questions about Science and Math.

Students can sign up for Mackenzie’s college entrance exam (vestibular) until May 25.

The JV teams were part of the Little 8 tournaments last week. The girls’ futsal team finished the tournament in 4th place, and the co-ed softball team in 5th place. The girls’ volleyball team finished in 7th place, and the boys’ futsal team in 6th place.

All athletic uniforms must be returned to Mrs. Buchanan by May 30.

The Varsity Basketball, Soccer and Cheerleading pre-season practices will happen from May 21 – 24 and on May 28. If your child wishes to play these sports next semester, they should plan to attend pre-season practices.

The schedule is the following:
Ø Girls’ basketball, cheerleading and boys’ soccer: from 3:30 to 4:35 p.m.
Ø Girls’ soccer and boys’ basketball: from 4:40 to 5:45 p.m.

Monday: noodle salad with mayonnaise, carrots and ham, stewed beef, rice, black beans, vegetable omelet, fruit
Tuesday: eggplant, grilled chicken breasts with soft cheese sauce, rice, beans, green beans, corn pudding

Thursday: cucumbers, Shepherd’s pie, rice, beans, carrots, jell-O

O May Bazaar acontecerá no ginásio no sábado, dia 19 de maio, das 9 às 14 horas.

Reunião do Comitê de Pais

O comitê de pais se reunirá com a administração na segunda-feira, no dia 21 de maio, às 7h30.

Notícias do Vestibular

As inscrições para o ENEM estão abertas até o dia 18 de maio, e deverão ser feitas no site do INEP https://enem.inep.gov.br/#/crono?_k=1nbbrz. O valor da taxa de inscrição é R$ 82. O resultado do ENEM pode ser usado para entrar em várias universidades públicas via SiSU. Grandes faculdades privadas têm vagas reservadas para o ingresso via ENEM, como FGV, Insper, Ibmec, ESMP, PUC, Mackenzie, FAAP e outras. As provas acontecerão nos dias 04 e 11 de novembro. O horário do primeiro dia de prova é das 13h30 às 19 horas, com questões de Linguagens e Códigos, Ciências Humanas e Redação. O horário do segundo dia é das 13h30 às 18h30, com questões de Ciências da Natureza e Matemática.

As inscrições para o vestibular do Mackenzie (2º semestre) estão abertas até o dia 25 de maio.

Os times do JV participaram dos torneios Little 8 na semana passada. O time de futsal feminino terminou o torneio em 4º lugar, o time de softball misto ficou em 5º lugar; o time de vôlei feminino ficou em 7º lugar, e o time de futsal masculino ficou em 6º lugar.

Todos os uniformes esportivos deverão ser devolvidos para a Mrs. Buchanan até 30 de maio.

Os treinos da pré-temporada de basquete, futebol e cheerleading do varsity acontecerão de 21 a 24 de maio e no dia 28 de maio. Caso seu filho queira jogar esses esportes no próximo semestre, ele deverá comparecer aos treinos da pré-temporada.

O horário dos treinos é:
Ø Basquete feminino, cheerleading e futebol masculino: das 15h30 às 16h35.
Ø Futebol feminino e basquete masculino: das 16h40 às 17h45.
