There will also be no school on November 26 and 27, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Walkathon Please make sure all Walkathon Pledge forms are turned in by Tuesday, November 24.  Every gift will help the Jardim das Oliveiras school in Carapicuíba.  If any questions, please contact Kevin Flurry. Thanksgiving Clothing Drive The annual Thanksgiving Clothing Drive has begun! Please donate clothes and shoes that are in good condition; do not send undergarments or school uniforms. Please bring all donations to school and place them in the bins either in front of the gym or in the elementary breezeway by November 24. All donations will go to Lar Tia Edna, Casa Abba and Lar Efrata. Thank you for your generosity! Gym Closed Due to the upcoming high school drama presentation and the elementary Christmas program, the gym will be closed for all activities until December 14. High School Drama Production PACA’s high school performing arts class will present Clark Gesner’s musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” on December 4 and 5, at 8 p.m., in the school gym. Tickets will be on sale in the main office starting on November 25: R$ 45 for adults and R$ 20 for students. Parent Advisory Committee Meeting The Parent Advisory Committee will have their first meeting of the year on December 7 at 7:30 a.m. The administration meets with this committee twice a year to share information about our school program and to hear suggestions and ideas from parents. If you have any items you would like to include in the meeting’s agenda, please e-mail the representatives of your child’s class or the school office, and briefly explain the nature of question by Wednesday, November 25. They finished the season in second place, after a tough game. The score was 40 x 42. Thank you to all the fans that came and supported our girls. Sports Calendar Update: The Big 8 tournament is happening right now! If you want to check out the scores and see how the PACA teams are doing, please go to the NR website: www.nr.com.br . Keep our athletes and coaches in prayer throughout this week. The athletes will return to São Paulo on Saturday, November 21. They will arrive at PACA around 7:30 p.m. The bus will stop at the usual drop-off points: Jockey Club (6:30 p.m.), Baby Beef Morumbi (6:50 p.m.) and SP Market (7 p.m.). The JV sports season is over. Please return all PACA sports uniforms to Mrs. Buchanan as soon as possible. Por favor, doem roupas e sapatos em bom estado; não enviem lingerie e uniformes escolares. Todas as doações devem ser colocadas nas caixas em frente ao ginásio ou no breezeway do Elementary até o dia 24 de novembro. Todas as doações irão para o Lar Tia Edna, Casa Abba e Lar Efrata. Ginásio Fechado Devido à apresentação de teatro dos alunos do Ensino Médio e do musical de Natal dos alunos do elementary, o ginásio estará fechado para todas atividades até 14 de dezembro. Peça de Teatro do Ensino Médio A turma de arte dramática do Ensino Médio apresentará o musical de Clark Gesner “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” nos dias 04 e 05 de dezembro, às 20 horas, no ginásio da PACA. Os ingressos serão vendidos na secretaria a partir do dia 25 de novembro: R$ 45 para adultos e R$ 20 para estudantes. Reunião do Comitê de Pais  O Parent Advisory Committee fará a sua primeira reunião desse ano letivo no dia 7 de dezembro, às 7h30. Elas terminaram a temporada em segundo lugar, após um jogo disputado. O placar do jogo foi PACA 40 x St. Paul’s 42. Agradecemos a todos que torceram pelas meninas.
