News from the Elementary Principal
The Elementary Reading Contest ended this week! The children who read all month earned a delicious ice cream treat. Students have asked for the ice cream cake recipe, so here it is:
> 1 liter of softened ice cream (vanilla or strawberry)
> 250 mL of fresh cream
> 1 package of crushed Oreo cookies

Make whipped cream with the fresh cream and a little sugar. Mix the whipped cream with the softened ice cream and the cookies. Put the mixture in a pan, and let it harden in the freezer.

News from the Guidance Counselor
This is the last college visit that will happen this semester for our high school students. Please remember that parents are invited to attend. If you have any questions, e-mail me at claudia.kuhnast@paca.com.br.

News from the Secondary Principal
We are excited to announce that over fifty of our high school students will be competing in soccer, basketball, and cheerleading at the Big 8 tournament in Campos do Jordão, from November 12 to 16. The athletes have been practicing hard, and many have been working on raising funds to help their parents pay for their expenses. A big thanks to all that have helped make the fund raisers happen and to those who have purchased food and treats at games or PTS conferences.

For those who will not go to the tournament, we will adjust our school schedule, due to the number of high school students that will be gone.
> On Monday, November 11, classes will be held as normal for all grades.
> On Tuesday and Wednesday, November 12 &13, the freshmen and seniors will have classes as normal. Sophomores and juniors will not have classes.
> On Thursday, November 14, there will be no classes for high school students.

Teachers may have assignments for students to work on during this week. Students who will not have classes, but would like to schedule a review time with a teacher may do so. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.

Notícias do Diretor do Ensino Médio

Mateus 5:16
