Find out more...   News from the Elementary Principal The library will be hosting a “Book Swap” day on Friday, October 25. Throughout the month of October, Elementary students can bring children books to the library for donation. For every “gently used” book the students bring, they can get a “new gently used” book on the day of the Book Swap. This is a great way for students to add unread books to their collection! Any questions, please contact the library at 5929-9538 or by email: [email protected].   Professional Development Afternoon Due to the teacher professional development afternoon, students will be dismissed at 12:50 p.m. on Monday, October 28. Students in preschool – 12th grade will eat lunch on campus before dismissal. The school buses will leave PACA at 1 p.m.   PSAT The sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT on October 30.    AP Exams Any high school student wishing to take an AP exam that is not offered at PACA, please contact Mrs. Zuercher and inform her of the exam you would like to take.  Exam orders will close October 31, 2019 for the AP exam offerings for May, 2020.  Students will not be able to request exams after the ordering deadline. If you are already registered in a normal scheduled AP class (one that you attend daily), you do not need to do anything regarding exams.   News from the Guidance Office The following college visits will take place in October. Saiba mais...   Notícias da Diretora do Elementary A biblioteca organizará uma “troca de livros” na sexta-feira, 25 de outubro. Durante o mês de outubro, os alunos do Elementary poderão trazer livros infantis usados, mas em bom estado, para doar para a biblioteca. Cada livro usado em bom estado vale um “novo” livro (usado em bom estado) no dia 25. Esta é uma excelente forma de adicionar livros que ainda não foram lidos às coleções particulares dos alunos! Caso tenham dúvidas, por favor, entrem em contato com a biblioteca no 5929-9538 ou por e-mail: [email protected].   Tarde de Capacitação Profissional Devido à tarde de capacitação dos professores, os alunos serão dispensados às 12h50 na segunda-feira, dia 28 de outubro. Os alunos da pré-escola ao 12º ano almoçarão na escola antes de serem dispensados. Os ônibus escolares sairão da PACA às 13 horas.   PSAT Os alunos do 10º e 11º anos farão o PSAT no dia 30 de outubro.    Exames AP (Advanced Placement) Qualquer aluno do high school que queira fazer uma prova AP de uma matéria não oferecida pela PACA, deve entrar em contato com a Mrs. Zuercher para fazer o pedido deste exame. Os pedidos dos exames que serão aplicados em maio de 2020 deverão ser feitos até 31 de outubro de 2019. Não será possível solicitar exames após esta data. Os alunos que estão matriculados em matérias AP oferecidas pela PACA, não precisam fazer o pedido dos exames.     Notícias da Orientadora Educacional Representantes das seguintes universidades visitarão a PACA em outubro.
