They were posted on Friday, September 29. Come visit our online newspaper to read what has been going on in the lives of PACA students during the month of September. Just remember, we are the Warrior Post and we cover the most.  Visit us here: https://pacawarriorpost.com/     PTS – Parent Teacher Student Conferences – October 6   We are looking forward to PTS Conferences with parents and students on Friday, October 6. Please remember that 2nd – 12th Grade students should attend conferences with their parents.  There will also be a Book Sale in the Library, a Bake Sale near the cafeteria.  If you need to schedule a make-up PTS Conference, please contact Milena Sposito (5929.9500 or [email protected] ).     Please be reminded that there will not be classes on October 6 due to PTS meetings.     Elementary Reading Contest     Thank you, parents, for joining us last Friday, September 29 as we kicked off the Elementary Reading Contest: “WILD about Books!” Students had a great time participating in special activities, learning about Safari animals, and hearing stories read in English and Portuguese. Please encourage your children to keep reading throughout the month. Check out the Reading Contest Calendar to see all of our special events that will take place throughout the month of October.    Reading Contest Kick-off Event Feedback   Dear Elementary parents, we would love to hear your feedback on the Reading Contest Kick-off Event, held on September 29. An email with the link for the survey and communication through Layers will be sent this week.  Please answer the survey by October 13.         Library Elementary Reading Contest Schedule   Dear Elementary Parents, Reading Contest is having several fun activities in the Library for the kids during this next month.   10/02-05: Wishlist Week – students will visit the library during their scheduled classes to see books that will be available for sale on PTS day.  10/06: Book Sale – During PTS day students and parents will have the opportunity to  buy new books from SBS and Vida Nova.  10/20: Author Visit – Mr. Izidoro Dubena will be visiting our students and reading a story!  10/24: Book Swap Day – Students who brought books during the month will swap according to the number of tickets they have.  Important: Please encourage your students to bring their gently used books for our upcoming Book Swap event! For every book they contribute, they will receive a ticket that can be exchanged for another book during the Book Swap Day on October 24th.    Lost and Found   During PTS Conference Day, Oct 6, "Lost and Found" items will be available in front of the Cafeteria. Please come by and check!  Valuable items are available, throughout the school year, with Miss Milena Sposito at the front desk.    Elementary Mother’s Tea    Elementary Room Moms are busy planning the Mother’s Tea for this school year! It is a special time for moms to get to know each other, eat delicious snacks, and encourage and pray for one another. Please be on the lookout for dates and more information from your classroom mom soon!      Game Results   The games happened on Tuesday, October 2, at PACA. Os alunos se divertiram muito participando de atividades especiais, aprendendo sobre os animais do Safari e ouvindo histórias lidas em inglês e português. Um e-mail com o link para a pesquisa e a comunicação pelo Layers serão enviados esta semana.  Por favor, responda à pesquisa até 13 de outubro.    Cronograma da Biblioteca para o Concurso de Leitura do Elementary   Queridos pais do Elementary, o Reading Contest está com várias atividades divertidas na biblioteca para as crianças durante o próximo mês.   02-05/10: Semana da Lista de Desejos - os alunos visitarão a biblioteca durante as aulas programadas para ver os livros que estarão disponíveis para venda no dia do PTS.  06/10: Venda de Livros - Durante o dia do PTS, os alunos e pais terão a oportunidade de comprar novos livros da SBS e da Vida Nova.  20/10: Visita do Autor - O Sr. Izidoro Dubena visitará nossos alunos e lerá uma história!  24/10: Dia da Troca de Livros - Os alunos que trouxeram livros durante o mês farão a troca de acordo com o número de fichas que tiverem.  Importante: Incentive seus alunos a trazerem seus livros usados para o nosso próximo evento de troca de livros! Para cada livro que contribuírem, eles receberão uma ficha que poderá ser trocada por outro livro durante o Book Swap Day em 24 de outubro.      Achados e Perdidos   Durante o dia das Reuniões de PTS a escola deixará os itens de “Achados e Perdidos” na frente da Cafeteria disponíveis para retirada.  Itens de valor estão disponíveis, durante o ano letivo inteiro, com a Miss. Milena Sposito na recepção.    Chá das Mães do Elementary    As “mães das salas”, as “Room Moms” do  Elementary estão a todo vapor organizando o Chá das Mães da turma para este ano letivo!
