Athletics: We Are Warriors!

Dear Members of our Community,

PACA athletes will participate in JV and Varsity Basketball and Soccer games as part of the São Paulo High School League (SPHSL). JV sports are typically played by students in middle school (ages 14 and under). Varsity sports are played by students with ages between 15 and 19. Athletic highlights are weekly league games and the two sports tournaments. In all of its athletic activities, PACA promotes a Christ-centered philosophy and strives to develop Christian character.

Welcome to a New School Year

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to PACA School Year 2022-23! Teachers, staff, and the administration are looking forward to welcoming returning students back to campus later this week. We are also pleased to welcome 40 new Warrior students to the student body and seven new Warrior teachers to the faculty.

Secondary students will have a half-day of school on Thursday, July 28 with school starting at 8:00 am and students leaving after lunch at 12:30 pm.
Elementary students will have a full-day of school on Friday, July 29 with school starting at 8:00 am and ending at 3:20 pm.
Preschool students will have a partial day on Friday, July 29 (8:00 am to 11:00 am) and their first full day of school will be on August 1.

As PACA begins its 63 ^rd school year, we praise God for His faithful provision. We ask parents to pray daily over all aspects of school life, as children travel to this beautiful campus from all over the city of São Paulo. Teachers are ready and eager to provide the biblically-integrated, relationship-oriented, Christ-centered education that PACA families have come to expect. Our life is deeply rooted by remaining connected to the ultimate truths of Scripture, and a firm dedication to following His path.

Keeping God front-and-center of PACA life is one purpose of an annual theme, which this year is “Abiding,” supported by John 15:4 (NIV): “ Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. ” This is one of the most important aspects of our existence, undergirding to God’s glory anything that has been accomplished over the years. Being whole (one of PACA’s four expected student outcomes) is a result of abiding in Jesus – out of a deep relationship with and obedience to Him.

PACA’s mission concludes with students “impact the world through Christ.” This is for students now , not merely in their future status as PACA alumni. We seek to provide authentic experiences for students that will allow them to make a difference now . We will continue to improve on our unique offer of "Quality Education Based on a Biblical Foundation," and thank you, both for your diligence in prayer and your commitment to a productive partnership and the growth of your student.
