Uma Noite de Artes e Reconhecimento
Candlelight/High School Choir Concert/National Honor Society

19:00

O tema do Candlelight deste ano é “The Roaring 2020’s”.

Concerto do Coral do Ensino Médio: Vinte e quatro alunos do Ensino Médio se prepararam durante todo o semestre para o grand finale – o Concerto do Coral. Eles serão nosso entretenimento musical desta noite.

19h15 – Concerto do Coral Parte I
19h45 – Jantar
20h30 – Cerimônia do NHS
20h45 – Concerto do Coral Parte II

This year we are featuring three events into one wonderful evening of dining and entertainment. All three events feature our High School students.

Candlelight Dinner: The Junior Class (11th Grade) organizes and hosts an elegant evening of dining. Due to pandemic, we have not been able to host this event for the last two years. This year the Junior Class is responsible for the food, decoration and ticket sales. The proceeds from the ticket sales raises money for the class. The theme for this year’s Candlelight is “The Roaring 2020’s.”

High School Choir Concert: Twenty-four High School students have been preparing all semester for their grand finale – the Choir Concert. They will be our evening musical entertainment. The choir is being led by Mr. Wesley Penteado.

National Honor Society: There are currently eighteen High School students who have demonstrated excellence in Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character.  This evening we will be inducting new High School students into this prestigious society. Established in 1921, the National Honor Society (NHS) is the  oldest and most respected student recognition organization in the United States. Membership in NHS distinguishes students who have committed themselves to the pursuit of academic excellence, community improvement, and personal development.

MAP Testing at PACA

April 22, 2022

Dear Elementary Parents,

We are planning to take the third and last MAP Test of the year.
MAP is Measures of Academic Progress®. It creates a personalized assessment experience by adapting to each student’s learning level—precisely measuring student progress and growth for each individual. MAP delivers data when it matters most: when there’s still time to make a difference in student progress.
2nd – 5th grade students will take 3 evaluations: Language, Reading and Math. Kindergarten and First grade students will take 2 evaluations: Reading and Math. These evaluations will be done between May 16-26. Students will be given less classwork and activities to complete on their evaluation days, which will allow them to focus and do their best during the assessment. The individual evaluations will take around 45-90 minutes to complete.
Please make sure that your child gets plenty of rest and eats a good breakfast in anticipation of their assessments. Please also provide emotional support, reminding your child to do their best but also that this is a special kind of test designed to figure out what they know and is not tied to their grades.
Please see the attached documents and the video link for more information about the MAP test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEbaAmB3fa0
Sincerely,

Brenda Stockment - Elementary Principal

22 de Abril de 2022

Prezados Pais do Ensino Fundamental,

Estamos planejando fazer o terceiro e último teste MAP teste do ano.

Atenciosamente,
