Admissions Overview

Our admissions process is designed to be clear, caring, and family-friendly. Each step helps us understand your child’s academic background, learning profile, and needs so we can support their success from day one. As you move through the application, our team is available to guide you, answer questions, and ensure a warm, confident transition to PACA.

To determine readiness for our American/Brazilian curriculum, the Admissions Office reviews academic records, language proficiency, social-emotional development, teacher recommendations, and the family’s commitment to the educational journey. Most families will also participate in an interview to discuss curriculum, expectations, and school fit.

Assessments & Interviews

Applicants for 1st grade through High School complete an entrance assessment in English and Mathematics. Preschool and Kindergarten candidates participate in a developmental interview to confirm readiness. Once we receive an application and if space is available, we will contact you to schedule the assessment.

Please note that space is limited and multiple candidates may be assessed together during high-demand periods.

Transfer Students
PACA accepts credits from accredited high schools. Official transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution before credit can be granted. Copies should also be presented at enrollment.

We welcome applications from U.S. homeschooled students. Please submit documentation of the curriculum used and assessment tools (standardized tests, report cards). High school applicants must also provide an official transcript from an authorized homeschooling institution or program.

Next Steps
If space is available in the appropriate grade, we will contact you to schedule the entrance assessment or interview. After reviewing assessment results and application materials, families who meet PACA’s academic and English proficiency requirements will be invited to a family interview with school administration. Final admissions decisions are confirmed once all requirements are met.

Tuition Schedule

Pan American Christian Academy is a non-profit institution, and our Tuition Rates & Fees are determined by the School Board of Directors.

Parents are notified each April of the updated fees, which take effect in July. Once established, all fees are adjusted in accordance with Brazilian legislation.

These values are formally accepted by families through the annual enrollment application and contract. Our tuition structure is designed to cover the full cost of educational development and overall school operations each year. Tuition may be paid monthly or in a single annual payment.

Financial Aid

Limited Financial Aid is available for students who have been enrolled at the school for more than 12 months. Assistance is granted based on demonstrated need and a formal application. In keeping with our policy, financial aid and scholarships are awarded to current families who are in good financial standing, need financial assistance, and whose children contribute to the welfare of the school.
