PACA’s academic program is college-preparatory, designed to prepare students for entry into colleges and universities in the United States, Brazil, and around the world. Students benefit from a relatively small, close knit student body, highly qualified Christian teachers and superior facilities, including state-of-the-art science and computer labs. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International, and recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education.
Aside from our record of academic excellence, perhaps the best reason to choose PACA is the environment and philosophical foundation. Every course, while academically challenging, is taught from a Biblical perspective. Students are taught to think from a Christian worldview in a global setting. We believe that they need to know how to make a living, but they must also know how to make a LIFE. Our school environment is safe and our students learn to treat each other with respect and encourage and support one another.

Our students pursue a college preparatory curriculum, which leads to an American Diploma with the option for a Brazilian Diploma. The American Diploma, equal in value to those issued by accredited high schools in the United States, must be earned by all PACA graduates. The Brazilian Diploma is required for entry into a Brazilian university and mandatory for all Brazilian students.
Our regulation size soccer field, 25-meter swimming pool, outside courts, and gymnasium provide excellent opportunities for sports and physical education. Extra-curricular activities include Student Council, yearbook, drama, choir, junior-senior banquet, senior trip, Knowledge Bowl, National Honor Society, and interscholastic sports.
PACA is selective in its admission to the high school program, admitting those who are academically qualified and demonstrate an eagerness to study in a structured Christian environment. Students in grades 6-12 sign a Christian lifestyle commitment. Students are not required to attend any particular church or denomination to be admitted.
