| Drama ProductionOur high school drama production, "Pride and Prejudice” will be presented this weekend. Performances will take place in the gym on Friday and Saturday, December 2 and 3, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost R$25 for adults and R$10 for students. The presentation will begin at 5 p.m. Pre-K- 5th grade students need to be in their classrooms at 4:30 p.m. Preschoolers are asked to wear plain white clothing. Kindergarten - 4th graders need to wear jeans and plain white T-shirts. The 5th graders will dress up for the play. A letter with more information went home this week.
The Elementary students will be visiting two different resting homes to sing Christmas songs on Tuesday, December 13. K-2nd graders will go in the morning to Meirehause, and the 3rd-5th graders will go in the afternoon to Betel Casa de Repouso. Please remember to return your child’s permission slip to the classroom teacher by next Friday, December 9.
The Elementary students (and whoever else would like to join us) would like to help Mr. Wesley Penteado as he works with children in Mozambique, from January 2 - 17. Last week, he shared with the Elementary students what he will be doing during his time there. Mr. Penteado will work with Pr. Benicio, who is a missionary in Vila de Mocuba. They will teach the children to play the recorder. The children are very poor and need toothbrushes, toothpaste and pencils. Mr. Wesley is asking for our community to help the children in Vila de Mocuba by donating these items. This small gesture will make a huge difference in these kids' lives. If you would like to help, please send in your donation with your child. Mr. Wesley has a box in the music room to receive donations. | Notícias da Diretora do ElementaryO musical de Natal do Elementary, "Miracle on the Main Street," acontecerá no sábado, dia 10 de dezembro. A apresentação começará às 17 horas. Os alunos da pré-escola ao 5º ano devem estar em suas classes às 16h30. Pedimos que os alunos da pré-escola venham vestidos de branco. Os alunos do Kindergarten ao 4ºano deverão vestir jeans e camisetas brancas (sem estampas). Os alunos do 5º ano se vestirão de acordo com o seu papel na peça. Uma carta com mais informações foi enviada aos pais esta semana.
Os alunos do Elementary também cantarão músicas de Natal em dois asilos na terça-feira, dia 13 de dezembro. Os alunos do Kindergarten ao 2º ano irão ao Meirehause no período da manhã, e os alunos do 3º ao 5º anos irão à Casa de Repouso Betel à tarde. Por favor, lembrem-se de devolver o formulário de autorização para a professora da classe do seu filho até a próxima sexta-feira, dia 9 de dezembro.
O Prof. Wesley Penteado fará um trabalho missionário em Moçambique juntamente com o Pr. Benicio, missionário em Vila de Mocumba, de 2 a 17 de janeiro. O professor atuará na área do ensino musical com flauta doce. As crianças são muito pobres, precisam muito de escovas e pasta de dente. Por isso, pedimos ajuda à nossa comunidadade: pedimos a doação de lápis, escovas e pasta de dente para as crianças de Vila de Mocuba. Esse gesto muito simples fará uma grande diferença na vida deles. Caso queiram ajudar, por favor, enviem suas doações com o seu filho.
