The Class of 2008 invites you to their graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 7 at 6 p.m. Come celebrate the end of a journey and the beginning of a new phase in their lives.
Other graduation ceremonies will be held during June for Kindergarten and 8th grade students, which are primarily for family members.
A classe de 2008 gostaria de convidá-lo para a cerimônia de formatura no sábado, dia 7 de junho, às 18 horas. Venha celebrar o fim de uma jornada e o começo de uma nova etapa nas suas vidas.
Haverá outras formaturas durante o mês de junho: alunos do kindergarten e do 8º ano, cerimônias, principalmente, para suas famílias.
HIGH SCHOOL EXAMS - PROVAS FINAIS
Final exams for students in grades 9-11 will be held June 10-12. There will be two exams each morning. At lunch time students are free to sign out of school and return home. Once they have left school they are not allowed to return. Those students who need to await school transport must use the study areas designated to them for the afternoon.
Os exames finais dos alunos do 9º ao 11º anos serão realizados nos dias 10 a 12 de junho. Haverá dois exames cada manhã. Os alunos podem voltar para casa depois das provas, mas uma vez que saiam da escola, não poderão voltar. Para os alunos que precisam aguardar o transporte escolar teremos lugares específicos onde poderão estudar no período da tarde.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL - ÚLTIMO DIA LETIVO TEM Assembléia
School will be dismissed at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 13. Parents are invited to the awards ceremonies in the students’ homeroom classrooms at 8:10 a.m. and then the all-school assembly at 9 a.m.
Os pais estão convidados a participar das premiações de final de ano nas classes, às 8h10, e depois para assistirem à assembléia, no ginásio, às 9 horas. Os alunos serão dispensados às 10 horas.
LOST AND FOUND - ACHADOS E PERDIDOS
During these last weeks we have displayed the lost and found items once a week for students to check. On the last day of school, all items will be set out on the tables near the swimming pool. Parents who come to the last day assembly should check. Any left over items will be sent to an orphanage.
Durante as últimas semanas temos exibido todos os itens da caixa de achados e perdidos. No último dia de aula, colocaremos tudo que resta nas mesas perto da piscina para os pais darem uma última olhada. Todos os itens que ficarem na escola serão doados para um orfanato.
LIBRARY - BIBLIOTECA
Vacation books can be checked out during the week of June 9. The library will be open in the vacation on Tuesdays during the month of July (8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th) for students and parents to check out books.
Livros podem ser retirados para as férias, na semana de 9 a 13 de junho. A biblioteca abrirá nas férias, todas as terças-feiras, durante o mês de julho (dias 8, 15, 22, 29).
PACA CAMPUS DURING VACATION - O CAMPUS DA PACA DURANTE AS FÉRIAS
The school campus will be closed to the community from June 13 until August 6 due to maintenance, repairs and remodeling. All visitors should go directly to the school office, which will be open all vacation from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., except on July 4 (American holiday ) and July 9, (São Paulo holiday).
As dependências da escola estarão fechadas à comunidade do dia 13 de junho até o dia 6 de agosto devido à manutenção, reformas e construção. Todos os visitantes devem se dirigir ao escritório da escola, que estará aberto durante as férias, das 9 às 15 horas, menos no feriado americano, dia 4 de julho e o feriado municipal, dia 9 de julho.
SPORTS - ESPORTES
Lunch Time Games: “Real Madrid” won the elementary soccer tournament, David Cabra won the high school table tennis tournament, and Andrew Chuang & Yurei Liang won the middle school badminton tournament.
Gym Lockers: All gym lockers must be cleaned out by Friday, June 6, or articles will be placed in the Lost & Found.
Physicals: All JV & varsity athletes must have a medical physical exam before practicing sports for the 2008/09 school year. We will offer a physical at PACA on August 6, from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. where Dr. Kunihiro (PACA parent) and a lady doctor for the cost of R$15 each, or you may pick up a Medical Form from the main office and have your family doctor complete it.
Fitness Test: All the fitness tests have been taken and the results will be posted in the GYM.
K-5 Field Day: We will have a Field Day on June 12 from 1 p.m. until 3:15 p.m.
Esportes na hora do almoço: O time “Real Madrid” ganhou o torneio de futebol do ensino fundamental. Daví Cabra ganhou o torneio de ping pong do High School e Andrew Chuang e Yurei Liang ganharam o torneio de Badminton.
Armários: Os alunos devem retirar seus pertences dos armários do ginásio até dia 6 de junho.
Atestado médico: No próximo ano letivo, os alunos que fazem parte de algum time precisarão entregar um atestado médico antes de participar dos treinos. Ofereceremos a opção de fazer o exame na escola, com Dr. Kunhiro, no dia 6 de agosto, das 13 às 18 horas, ou os alunos podem retirar um formulário no escritório e levar ao médico da sua escolha. O custo do exame na escola é de R$15,00.
Testes de aptidão esportiva já foram realizados e os resultados serão divulgados no mural do ginásio.
Tarde de Esportes: No dia 12 de junho, os alunos do kindergarten ao 5º ano, participarão de uma tarde de esportes sobre o tema “Olimpíadas”.
TUITION BILLS - MENSALIDADES ESCOLARES
The tuition bills for July and August will be sent home with your children at the beginning of next week. If you do not receive yours, please contact D. Annelise in the finance office. These bills must be paid at the bank.
Os boletos das mensalidades de julho e agosto serão enviados para casa, no começo da semana que vem, com seus filhos. Se vocês não receberem, por favor, entrem em contato com a Sra. Annelise no escritório financeiro. Os boletos devem ser pagos no banco.
