SCHOOL HOLIDAY| FERIADO

School will be closed TOMORROW, Thursday, May 22 for the Corpus Christi holiday. Friday, May 23 is a school day, and regular classes will be held.

MUSICAL PERFORMANCE - APRESENTAÇÃO MUSICAL

Parents and students are invited to enjoy PACA HighSchool Choir’s performance, entitled “From the Heart”, this Saturday, May 24 at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Admission fee will be 1 kilo of non-perishable food, which will be donated to Casa Abba Ministries.

Pais e alunos estão convidados a assistir ao programa musical do Coral, “Do Coração”, no sábado, dia 24 de maio, às 19 horas, no refeitório da escola. O ingresso será um (1) quilo de alimento não perecível, que será doado para o ministério Casa Abba.

STUCO - GRÊMIO

Student Council application forms for next year are available in the Counseling Office. Applications are due by May 29 and election speeches will be held on June 3.

Os formulários de nomeação para o Grêmio estudantil estão disponíveis. Devem ser entregues até dia 29 de maio e os candidatos farão seus discursos no dia 3 de junho.

SPORTS - ESPORTES

Pre-Season Practices: On June 2, 3, and 4 we will offer pre-season practices for our varsity teams. 1st practice (3:30-4:35 p.m.): cheerleading, girls basketball, boys soccer; 2nd practice (4:40-5:45 p.m.): girls soccer, boys basketball.

Medical exam: Next school year ALL ATHLETES will be required to have a medical exam before participating in any of the sports teams.

Aerobic Points for seniors are due on May 26. Students in grades 6-11 must turn theirs in on June 2.

Fitness tests for all students will be held June 2--6.

Tennis Balls: The P.E. department is offering a unit in Rackets - tennis, badminton and table tennis. We have lost a number of tennis balls in this unit. Do you have any old tennis balls around the house that you would be willing to donate to PACA for this unit?

Treinos preliminares: Nos dias 2, 3 e 4 de junho haverá treinos para a próxima temporada, das 15h30 às 16h35, do cheerleading, basquete feminino e futebol masculino; o 2º treino, das 16h40 às 17h45 do futebol feminino e basquete masculino.

Atestado médico: No próximo ano letivo, os alunos que fazem parte de algum time, precisarão entregar um atestado médico antes de participar dos treinos.

Aeróbica: A verificação de pontos de aeróbica deve ser entregue no dia 26 de maio, pelos "seniors" e no dia 2 de junho pelos alunos no 6º ao 11º anos.

Testes de aptidão esportiva serão realizados nos dias 2 a 6 de junho.

Tênis: Nas aulas de educação física, estamos ensinando tênis, badminton e ping-pong. Perdemos muitas bolas de tênis durante as aulas. Se você quiser colaborar com o Departamento de Educação Física doando bolas de tênis, por favor, envie-as para a escola.

HONORS PRESENTATIONS - CURSOS DE "HONORS"

All students who have been in our honors program this year will present their final paper on Monday and Tuesday, May 26 and 27 after school. Students’ parents may sit in on these presentations.

NATIONAL HONORS SOCIETY

The annual induction ceremony for new members of NHS will be held on Wednesday, May 28 at 3:30 p.m.

Please remember that the monthly tuition bill can be paid by internet or at the bank, but after the due date only at the Itaú Bank. Please do not send your payment to the school. Our finance office is not authorized to receive this payment.

Registration materials for the ENEM exam have arrived. Students in 11th grade should register with D. Tania by May 30. The registration fee is R$35. Seniors may also register at PACA
