Azusa Pacific University’s vocal ensemble, The Saints, will perform in the PACA gym on February 18, from 1 to 1:40 p.m. Parents are invited. The Saints are APU students who major in different areas of study, who seek to praise God and lead their brother and sisters in Christ in worship. They completed a musical tour through the Pacific Northwest, covering more than 2500 miles and ministering in churches, schools and civic organizations. The ensemble performs a wide variety of music, ranging from classic hymns to contemporary choruses, and from a capella spirituals to great gospel music favorites.
1:00 pm to 1:40 pm
Invitation open to the entire community

PACA's Middle School had the privilege to watch Brazil's # 1 Table Tennis player, Cazuo Matsumoto, give a demonstration in the school's gym. Cazuo has represented Brazil at the 2008 and 2012 olympics in the sport.
According to the ITTF website (http://www.ittfranking.com/cgi-bin/ttplayer.cgi?number=105928&lang=0&format=summary), Cazuo is ranked # 1 in Latin America and ranked # 92 in the world. Along side with Cazuo, he brought along Katia (# 5 in Brazil) and Vitor (# 1 non-federated open player).
It was a great opportunity to see a very explosive and fast pace sport live in our gym. After showing some techniques, Cazuo gave 3 chances to several students to try to return 1 of his serves. A few managed to put a ball back into play winning an autographed paddle rubber, but all had great fun trying.
A special thank you to Macarrão Alfa (http://www.macarraoalfa.com.br/) for making this possible.
Buy your tickets to this year's play by contacting Mrs. Helen Morosov (click here).
Tickets are R$25,00 per adult and R$10,00 per student.
Alice in Wonderland will be performed November 30 and December 1 at 8:00 pm for both shows.
