The Impact of ACSI International Christian Schools on the
Spiritual Formation of Its Graduates
Dear Graduate of Pan American Christian Academy:
As a graduate student in the education department at Liberty University, I am conducting research as part of the requirements for a doctorate in education. The purpose of my research is to understand the long-term impact of Christian education on the spiritual formation of its graduates, and I am writing to invite you to participate in my study.
You are being contacted because you are a graduate of an ACSI accredited international school in South America. If you graduated between 2007 and 2009; can read, write, and speak English; have access to a computer with recording capabilities for an online web conferencing interview (if you agree to participate fully), and are willing to participate, you will be asked to participate in at least the first step.
For the first step, you will be asked to take an online survey (click here). This step should take approximately 20 minutes for you to complete.
For the second step you will be sent a link to an online journal and asked to respond to a total of eleven open-ended questions over a period of a month. This should take approximately 20 minutes per question.
The third step will be an individual web interview with me. This interview should take no longer than one hour. If you agree to participate in any of the steps, your name and other general information about you will be requested as part of your participation.
If you agree to participate beyond the first step, I will contact you shortly to provide you the link for the journal and, if you desire to participate in the third step, to schedule an interview.
