PACA’s comprehensive developmental counseling program is designed to be a partnership between parents and the school community, with the purpose of promoting and enhancing the spiritual development, academic development, personal and social development, career development, and finally the post-secondary planning process of our students.
The guidance counselor strives to assist students in achieving success and personal growth in all aspects of their lives. Individual and classroom guidance is provided for all high school students with a focus on academic development, personal and social development, career development, and the post-secondary option planning process. College advising is expanded during the second half of the junior year and continues into the senior year as the counselor assists students and parents in researching schools, developing a list, and making applications to appropriate colleges and universities in the US, Brazil, and other countries.
